The Croatian Underground Music Scene: Local Events Only

Updated: Apr 20

Each summer, Croatia hosts 45 music festivals, and it's not well known that the majority of music festivals in Croatia are actually foreign organizations.

Most commonly from UK, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, with less than 1% of festivals organized by Croatians themselves. It doesn't mean that Croatian promoters don't exist. Actually, our scene is thriving!

I moved to Croatia in 2020 anxious to meet a new tribe of people who are just as passionate about music as I am. And if you're like me, you will find yourself in Croatia wanting to know how the Balkans really like to party.

We Love Sound

The issue with trying to find underground music culture is that everything is spread out across so many different places, and not necessarily with up to date information.

My goal is to help people discover new music that they didn't know existed before. This pleasant surprise can lead you down a totally new path. At least, that's what happened to me.

Use my Croatian Music Guide to uncover how the locals enjoy their dancefloors.

When people showed me new music cultures, I opened up to a totally new world, and this I hope to bring the same to other music enthusiasts.
